Adoptive Families

The Lone Soldier Center matches lone soldiers with adoptive and host families.  Since lone soldiers serve in the IDF without their families, there is a small contingent who enjoy living within a family unit for the duration of their army service.  As most lone soldiers live in the Tel Aviv and Jerusalem areas, we are always looking for warm families to adopt lone soldiers for a trial/permanent basis.

Adopt an Apartment of Lone Soldiers

Many lone soldiers live in apartments together in the metropolin areas.  Not every family can accomodate lone soldiers on a daily basis, but you can also adopt an apartment of lone soldiers.  The idea is to be in touch with them on a regular basis, offer support and be a “family” for the entire apartment without having them live you.  You do not have to live in Israel to be a part of this program.
