Lone Soldier Center High Holiday Campaign Sponsored by Bergen County Coordinated by Shera Dubitsky, Batya Paul ,Tami Volodarsky
“Meals of Love from Abroad” is a wonderful initiative where people from different communities from all over the world can sponsor meals for our 6500 lone soldiers currently serving and protecting Israel. The Bergen County Jewish community have decided to take upon themselves to raise funds for the Lone Soldier Center in Memory of Michael Levin to feed our brave lone soldiers during the Chaggim. Lone Soldiers forfeit this luxury and leave the comfort of their home to protect our homeland, Israel. Let us say "thank you" to these soldiers by providing them with festive, catered holiday meals in a more loving environment. We are looking to provide all the meals for Rosh Hashana and Succot. Please help make this happen Coordinators: Shera Dubitsky Batya Paul Tami Volodarsky Bergen County, new Jersey

Benjamin Pierce’s Bar Mitzvah
Hi, my name is Ben and my Bar Mitzvah project is to raise money for Israeli soldiers. In order to do this, I have created a website for people to donate towards my project. I chose the Lone Soldier Center as my Mitzvah Project because of the impact meeting soldiers had on me during my visit to Israel in February of this past year. I learned about their lives, their service to Israel and admired them so much. I also enjoyed having dinner with several soldiers and giving a few Boston Red Sox hats! I was so taken with their stories and their love for the country that I just knew I wanted to do something for them. I would appreciate any help you can offer so that these soldiers can know we have them in our hearts and minds, so that they can have the warmth of a Shabbat dinner and the comfort of clean clothes and the feeling of appreciation for their hard work. Thank you so much. -Ben
