Shalom Zionist at Maryland (SHAZAM)
The University of Maryland (UMD) Representatives of the Michael Levin Lone Soldier Center raise awareness for the Lone Soldier Center across their campus. This lively group of dedicated students organizes dinners, Israeli-style “boot camps” and other activities which educate students about lone soldiers and the way that the Lone Soldier Center in Memory of Michael Levin addresses the needs of lone soldiers before, during and after their service in an effort to amass support for the organization.
Students at the University of Maryland funded and assembled 30 packages for lone soldiers which were brought to Israel by members of the group. To get involved with the UMD Representatives, please contact Razie at rdalter@terpmail.umd.edu.
