The Lone Soldier Center in Memory of Michael Levin

Since 2009, the Lone Soldier Center in Memory of Michael Levin has served as a supportive community for lone soldiers. The organization provides guidance from the moment they receive their first conscription order until approximately five years after their discharge, focusing on three key areas: housing, community, and counseling.

Your donation has a meaningful impact

What we do

The establishment and operation of three centers in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Be’er Sheva—safe spaces where soldiers can eat, rest, and connect with the Center’s volunteers for support and conversation.

Providing comprehensive physical, technical, and emotional support to lone soldiers, with access to social workers, psychologists, lawyers, doctors, and other professionals to address any need.

Long-term individual and group treatments, according to the needs of each soldier and in a variety of languages.

Distributing clothing, personal care items, furniture, and other essentials based on each soldier’s specific needs.

Distribution of hot meals and food baskets.

Providing transportation assistance for various needs, including delivering food, moving furniture, and relocating apartments.

Facilitating connections with adoptive or host families.

Providing support and guidance throughout the rehabilitation process for injuries.

Providing living allowances and rent assistance based on individual needs.

Vision for the Future

We have outlined several goals to accomplish by 2028:

A new center has been established, joining the existing three locations, to provide additional support for lone soldiers.

Expanding the housing network nationwide to provide lone soldiers with a warm bed and a safe place to stay.

Expanding the outreach system in Israel and around the world.

Focusing on veteran lone soldiers by offering tools and support for successful integration into society after military service.
