Every year, there are four large drafts to the IDF. Large backpacks (90 liters) are needed for lone soldiers in each draft class for them to be able to carry their clothing and gear to and from base conveniently and in dignity.

It is the custom in Israel for Israeli parents of drafting soldiers to buy a large backpacks for their son or daughter as a drafting present. Lone Soldiers do not have their parents here, so the LSC provides the lone soldiers with this very important and valuable item which will help them throughout their service.
